Apart from various private language
schools in the area, Torremolinos town council offers
Spanish language courses for
foreigners every year, held at the Cultural Centre (Centro
Cultural Pablo Ruiz Picasso - pictured below), on Calle de la Cruz. The
courses are
offered at three different levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced,
and cost just €30 for residents who are registered on the "padron".

Courses begin every October, and registration for the limited places
starts in June. The courses consist of two
lessons a week lasting an hour and a half each, plus a conversation
session on
Fridays, and run for about six months.
