According to statistics reported by Torremolinos Town Council (Ayuntamiento), January 2008 saw a total of 13,201 visitors to the Torremolinos tourist offices, an increase of 2,879 on the same period last year. Of these, the majority were at the office in Playamar (pictured above). The majority of enquiries handled at the tourist offices were made by Spaniards, closely followed by Britons.
